  15. I've been having a problem using the Rev. C m68360 Smc in uart mode. The 
  16. smc receives a garbled character about 1 in 20. This only occurs with a 
  17. Wyse WY-520/ES dumb terminal. Using a scope I have demonstrated that the 
  18. wave form of the transmitted character from the Wyse is very poor, with 
  19. low voltage and slow rise time. Apparently this is so bad that the smc
  20. has problems with it. The m68360 Scc handles this ok, however.

  22. I found an errata referring to the smc's inability to handle "short 
  23. start bits".
